Do Not Call Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective September 15, 2026

Hero statement

"Stop calling me" means stop. At CallBlade, a consumer's request not to be called is honored immediately, permanently, and with prejudice, regardless of any instruction from the client whose campaign we are running.

1.Our commitment

CallBlade considers a consumer's request not to be contacted to be the single most important instruction an agent will ever receive on a call. It outranks the script, the campaign goal, the sales target, and the client's instructions. We do not treat these requests as objections to overcome. We treat them as final.

2.What counts as a Do Not Call request

A consumer does not need to use any particular words. Any reasonable expression that the consumer does not want to be called or contacted again is a Do Not Call request. Examples include:

  • "Stop calling me."
  • "Take me off your list."
  • "Don't call me again."
  • "Put me on your Do Not Call list."
  • "I'm on the Do Not Call Registry."
  • "Remove my number."
  • "Never call here again," including when said in anger or with profanity.
  • Replying STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to a text.
  • Pressing an automated opt-out key.
  • A written request by email, mail, web form, or any other channel.

When a statement is unclear, CallBlade treats it as a Do Not Call request. We would rather lose a call than make one the consumer didn't want.

3.What the agent does, every time

When a consumer makes a Do Not Call request, the agent must:

  1. Stop the sales conversation immediately. No rebuttals, no "before you go," no attempts to save the call, and no transfer to a retention or closer queue.
  2. Acknowledge and confirm. For example: "I understand. I'm removing your number now, and you won't receive further calls from us."
  3. Confirm the number if the consumer is calling from or referring to a different number, and suppress every number the consumer identifies.
  4. Apply the Do Not Call disposition in the dialing system before ending the call.
  5. End the call politely.

The agent must never ask the consumer why, question whether they are sure, argue, suggest they will miss out, or ask them to call back later to confirm.

4.With prejudice: client instructions cannot override

A Do Not Call request is processed with prejudice. That means:

  • It is final. Once a number is placed on CallBlade's suppression list, CallBlade will not remove it at a client's request, for any reason.
  • Contrary client instructions are void. No script, campaign brief, email, verbal direction, or contract term can require a CallBlade agent to continue a call, rebut a request, or re-dial a suppressed number. Any such instruction is refused.
  • Re-supplied data does not reset it. If a suppressed number appears in a new lead file, a "fresh" list, an aged-data upload, or a claimed new consent record supplied by a client or any third party, it stays suppressed.
  • Only the consumer can lift it. A suppression can be reversed only by the consumer, through a new, documented, consumer-initiated request made after the original opt-out, and only after review and approval by CallBlade Compliance.
  • Inbound calls do not reset it. If a suppressed consumer later calls in, CallBlade may assist them on that call. That call does not authorize any outbound contact unless the consumer expressly asks for a callback and Compliance documents that request.
  • Attempts to override are a breach. A client that instructs, pressures, or encourages CallBlade personnel to ignore a Do Not Call request is in material breach of its agreement with CallBlade, and CallBlade may suspend or terminate the campaign immediately.

5.Scope of suppression

Numbers placed on the Do Not Call list are added to both:

  • the client's campaign suppression list, blocking all further CallBlade calls and texts on behalf of that client across every campaign; and
  • the CallBlade Master Suppression List, blocking outbound telemarketing calls and texts by CallBlade on behalf of any client.

6.Timing

  • The suppression takes effect in the dialing system at the moment the agent applies the disposition, before the call ends.
  • The request is propagated to every CallBlade dialing and messaging system within twenty-four (24) hours, well inside the federal maximum of ten (10) business days.
  • CallBlade delivers a report of all Do Not Call requests to the client at least weekly, so the client can suppress the numbers in its own systems and with its other vendors, as the law requires of the seller.

7.Retention

Do Not Call requests are retained indefinitely and are never purged. This exceeds the federal requirement to honor a request for five (5) years and the longest state retention requirements.

8.Written policy and training

This written policy is available to any consumer on request and is published at this page. Every CallBlade agent is trained on it before taking a live call, retrained at least annually, and tested on it. See Agent Training, QA & Enforcement.

9.Monitoring and verification

CallBlade QA reviews recorded calls for Do Not Call compliance on an ongoing basis. Any call where a request was missed, argued with, delayed, or mishandled is escalated to Compliance the same day, the number is suppressed, and the agent is removed from live calling pending review.

10.How consumers can make a request

Consumers may ask to be placed on CallBlade's Do Not Call list at any time by:

  • telling any CallBlade agent on a call;
  • replying STOP to any CallBlade text;
  • submitting the form at callblade.com/do-not-call;
  • emailing dnc@callblade.com.

No purchase, account, or explanation is required.
